The Crime of Gai Joi by Edgar Wallace

“Oh, no,” he said; “I wasn’t in your cottage more than two hours. You’re a good Press agent, but a mighty bad conspirator. To get into the house from the outside you had to use a key. To get out from the inside you merely turn the handle.”

A Wise Symon adventure.
